Game on.

Monday, June 25th, 2007

I’m going into Chicago tomorrow - maybe I’ll buy a hotdog, maybe not. That’s not really what I came here to talk about though, I came to show you what’s probably the last of the Clip-Ons halftone series, unless Alex or Caleb personally request that I make them one. Hah! Tory doing what Tory does…

My post titles are getting stranger and stranger. I just finished working on this little frog thing, and I thought I’d share it.

Fivel Comes to America.

Just like Fivel, I need a job and have a big floppy hat. The dry spell creatively needs to end, but there’s nothing I can do about it when I’m still jumping for the career ladder rungs. The other day I was over at the Kirgiss’ house, and Tate showed me the myspace site he put together for The Clip-Ons. I thought it was cool, and also I realized that someone somewhere had actually seen that halftone pic I made from our show, and I remembered that I promised myself I’d do the whole band. One step closer to that goal - here’s Tate in action.

Hello World.

It’s been a long time, and it’s going to be spotty for a while I must admit. Creativity is kind of taking second place as I figure out where I’m going in a month and a half. Chicago is looking nice, and so is Indianapolis. Tuesday I’m going to meet with a guy I came in contact with, he seems like a cool guy and he’s got his own company and everything, so hopefully that’ll work out into something good.

Like I said, kind of dried up on the creativity thing (well, at least I haven’t been making time to create among doing other things at the moment). I did make a demo reel for WATCHOUT which I was pretty proud of, but you really can’t watch it unless you have the program, so I can’t post it here too easily.

Just to keep things fresh, this is the cover to a mix-CD I made for Stacey last week. She’s really special.
